Michael Billington

is a British author and arts critic. He has been drama critic for The Guardian since 1971 and is “Britain’s longest-serving theatre critic”, the author of biographical and critical studies relating to British theatre and the arts, and he is the authorised biographer of playwright Harold Pinter (1930-2008).
